At Junior Tours, our primary goal is to make our educational trips as affordable as possible for every student and family. We understand that travel can be a significant investment, which is why we provide a suite of tools designed to reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

Crowdfunding

The easiest way to lower your trip balance is through our integrated crowdfunding tool. Every student receives a unique, personalized fundraising link within their Junior Tours portal. Once your child has registered and paid their first deposit, this link becomes active and can be shared via email, text, or social media.

This allows family and friends to contribute directly to the student’s trip account, providing a meaningful way for loved ones to celebrate milestones like birthdays or holidays. Every dollar donated is applied instantly to your account balance.

School and Classwide Fundraisers

Participating in group fundraisers like bake sales, car washes, or "spirit nights" at local restaurants is a popular and effective way for your community to help lower travel costs. These events allow students to work together toward a common goal while building excitement for the trip. 

When your trip leader hosts a group event, they collect the total proceeds as a single sum. To make things simple for you, our online portal allows the trip leader to digitally allocate these funds as “bulk credits.” Depending on the group's plan, they can either:

  1. Split the earnings evenly among all participating students, or
  2. Customize the amounts to reflect your child's individual effort or sales results.

Once the trip leader submits the funds to Junior Tours, your child’s portion will automatically be applied to your account balance. You can track these credits at any time by logging into our online portal.

Free Scratch Cards

As an additional resource, we offer free scratch cards for students to share with supporters. After the group’s first deposit is received, these cards are provided to your trip leader. Supporters scratch off a hidden box to reveal a small donation amount (usually between $1 and $3). Students can raise up to $200 per completed card, which is used to offset the remaining balance of the trip cost.
