All payments received, less non-recoverable deposits and a $200 per person booking fee, will be refunded if the Tour is canceled.
If an individual Tour Participant wants to cancel from a scheduled tour, they must notify Junior Tours in writing. Junior Tours will retain:
- 25% of the Tour Price if cancellation notice is received 90 days or more prior to departure.
- 50% of the Tour Price if cancellation notice is received 46-89 days prior to departure.

Free Scratch Cards
Scratch Cards can be a simple and effective way for students to fundraiser for their trip. After you book in, we can send free scratch cards for students to ask friends and family to scratch a box and donate the amount revealed…ranging from just $0.50 to $3.00. Once all spots are scratched, the student will have raised an average of $200 (per card), offsetting the balance due for the tour.
Crowdfunding
For groups who use our online registration portal – students will be given a link that they can share with family and friends, or post on social media, to seek donations directly into their trip account. This can be particularly effective around birthdays and holidays.

Workshops
A beginning session, starting with an emphasis on play and honoring the individual. Students slowly build a foundation of trusting their experience in the moment, taking risks outside the comfort level, and choosing surprising, strong action through deepening self-awareness. Everyone participates in the first half of these sessions and volunteers themselves for solo and fun scenes in the second half…. and yes, there will be homework.
It’s Tuesday, and we’re in rehearsal for a Broadway Musical. A new chorus number has to go into the show by Thursday, so as fast as possible, we’re going to learn a song, stage it, and knock everybody’s socks off with our fantastic showstopper! Pick up some great new tips on how to work fast under pressure and get a taste of how the work gets done professionally in New York City.
Curious how you might fair playing a role on Prime time TV or in the latest Hollywood Blockbuster? Receive “sides” (your assigned scene) before departing for New York and then perform that scene here in the Big Apple. Watch the playback and receive critique from a real New York on-screen Director.
You’ve learned the melody, mastered the rhythms, memorized the lyrics, put your stage fright behind you and have finally gotten up there to sing. Everything’s great, except you’re standing there like a tree! Through theatre games and exercises, we’ll explore how to physicalize your song (especially what to do with your hands!). Learn how mastering the physical can create exciting singing performances!
A fast paced, exciting class – creating trust in oneself and the group, strengthening commitment, and taking risks outside the comfort level. Improv introduces the student/artist to their untapped gifts and abilities through participation in scenes, songs, group poems, and character work – as well as ensemble long form. This class increases confidence and self-awareness, surprising the individual and the group. Everyone participates and yes, there will be lots of laughter.
Want to learn how to execute the perfect stage slap? Or fall correctly in a fight scene? Professional Stunt Coordinators teach you some of the basic moves of stage combat on forgiving safety mats. These skills are invaluable for performers working in a variety of mediums from Shakespeare to Cop Shows!
When the 8:30 curtain was in vogue, the BIG musical number in Act II was often referred to as the 11 O’Clock Number. Learn the vocals and choreography of a large ensemble number in a current Broadway show from an actual member of the company! This workshop pairs perfectly with tickets to the show.
Communicating with confidence and clarity is vital to succeeding in business. Through a series of exciting and energizing interactive theatre games, students will learn powerful methods of sharing information and communicating effectively in business. These exercises will allow students an opportunity to explore the power of persuasive communication, in a fun and encouraging environment. This is a great workshop to use in conjunction with your NYC Business tour.
Ever fantasize about performing a musical number from SMASH or a scene from PERSON OF INTEREST for a casting professional who’s worked on the actual production? Mock auditions mimic the professional audition experience down to every detail. Casting directors provide personal feedback for participants and share tips from a pro to help improve your audition game.
This exciting workshop is about all the participants “breaking through” to more joyous, confident and powerful singing performances. Here’s your chance to work with a Broadway Professional Musical Theatre Coach. Volunteers will be asked to sing, so please bring sheet music and/or CDs with you. If you don’t have music with you, you’re still encouraged to attend! A cappella is a good thing!
