STUDENT TRAVEL CANCELLATIONS & INSURANCE

STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY

ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE SUBMITTED TO JUNIOR TOURS. Payments are, however, fully transferrable to a new replacement. Transfers cannot be made to a person who is already registered for the Tour. For groups that are flying, name change fees may apply if the list of registrants has been submitted to the airlines, usually about 60 days before departure. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND EACH TOUR PARTICIPANT PURCHASE TRIP PROTECTION.

TRIP INSURANCE OPTIONS

For Groups NOT enrolled in Direct Online Billing:

TRAVEL INSURED STUDENT DELUXE PLAN

Junior Tours makes available the purchase of travel protection through Travel Insured International. This protection must be purchased at the time of initial registration by completing the registration form provided by your group leader and sending in a separate check for payment.

Highlights of this plan include:

  • Full refund of all tour payments (less cost of insurance) if cancelled prior to departure for medical or other qualified reason
  • 75% refund of all tour payments (less cost of insurance) if cancelled 48 hours prior to departure for any non-qualified reason
  • Accident and sickness medical expenses up to $25,000
  • Baggage Protection– up to $300 for baggage delays of more than 24 hours or up to $1,500 for lost or stolen baggage
  • The cost of the insurance is determined by the cost of the trip

For Groups enrolled in Direct Online Billing:

DEPOSIT PROTECTION COVERAGE

Junior Tours offers Deposit Protection Coverage (DPC). By purchasing this optional coverage, you are entitled to a full refund of all payments, less cost of Coverage, if you decide to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours before the scheduled departure. The DPC must be purchased at the time of Registration.

All cancellation notices and requests for refunds must be in writing and received at least 24 hours before scheduled departure. Cancellation notices can be (i) mailed to Junior Tours, 935 Route 34, Suite 3C, Matawan, NJ 07747; (ii) faxed to Junior Tours at 732-566-0216; or (iii) emailed to Junior Tours at travel@juniortours.com. All refund requests must state the group name, group leader name, tour participant name and reason for cancelling. Eligible refunds take approximately 2 weeks to process.
